Cozy Neckwarmers

I wanted to have something to protect my neck from the bitter cold winds of Michigan. So last week (the day before we were leaving to go to Michigan, mind you) I decided to whip something up... I didn't want a scarf and I didn't want to have to put something over my head.... so I came up with these cozy neckwarmers! Now mind you, since I came up with the "pattern" - I have made 8! They are fast and easy and seem to be quite the hit with the fam.

If only I had thought of them earlier and used them for gifts.... ah, next year :)

New Hats!

With all my Christmas orders being finished I had time to make up two new hat patterns and they turned out so cute!

The first is for my sister - she wanted a chunky bobble looking hat in grey. It's hard to get a picture of this but it is adorable on!

Cute Bobble Stitch

So thick and warm!

Then I needed a hat for our family Christmas picture and fell in love with this pattern and had to try it! The side Swirl Flower Beanie.

Love them both! Want one? Let me know or shop Etsy!

To Smell the Roses

I have been seeing these little rose buds all over the place and thought they were just darling. So when a friend asked to make a newborn hat for their new niece I knew I had to try one.

And I just love how it turned out! So lacy and elegant on the hat and then the scalloped edge to top it off!

Catching up

So it has been a busy couple weeks with orders, new patterns, and fun travels. I am so blessed and thankful for each and every one of you. These past 3 months have been such an eye opener in so many ways. I am so touched by every compliment and order, I can't even put it into words.

Crochet truly is a passion of mine and thank you for helping me pursue it.

Want to see some of the new items?? Ok, ok here goes :)

Aren't these the sweetest things? I just LOVE the flower button.
Made for a co-worker having their baby any day.

Flower Stripe Beanie

The 3d flower just makes the hat for sure.
Also made for the co-worker.

Made for my mom's friend who is also having a baby any day.

Double Strap Mary Janes

Everything you love about Mary Janes in a plain slipper! I just love the wood button (that the hubby picked out!)
Made for my Mother-in-law (shh! she hasn't gotten them yet!)

Backpacking in "somethingdianemade" style!

Custom made beanies for the hubby and I for our trip!

Hope you have enjoyed the catch up!
